Prizes for special achievements in research
Following its initial development phase, the Bayreuth University Foundation will be distributing funding for scientific projects for the first time in 2025. This year, it plans to award three prizes for outstanding achievements in research. Each prize is endowed with €10,000. The application deadline is the end of May.
Selection
You can apply for one of the three prizes:
- Advanced Researcher Award
- Early Career Researcher Award (up to 8 years after completing your doctorate)
- Beyond Research Award: Thinking outside the box

Award Ceremony
The University Foundation's prizes will be awarded as part of the UNIKAT summer festival on July 19, 2025.
